AVAS Vet Bills

It's been a busy winter for the AuSable Valley Animal Shelter, located in a small town in N.Michigan. Grayling and Crawford County has a total of 14,000 residents, and is an economically challenged area. We are really struggling to pay our bills. We are a non-profit, no-kill shelter, and not county-funded. Through aggressive spay and neuter programs, we have reduced the number of homeless animals in our community by approximately two thirds in the last fifteen years. However, we still care for a large number of animals, most of which need vet care. Consquently, we are reaching out to animal lovers in the hopes that  you will find it in your hearts to help us continue our good works.
