 AudiblEye is a smartphone application that provides blind and visually impaired individuals with indoor navigation by utilizing existing technology.


Our Story

Hello! My name is Jerrod Witt, I recently graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration.

I need your help to continue starting my business and change the world!

·  During my Sophomore year at Bowling Green State University, I discovered a braille sign that was placed in a very obscure location. I discovered a braille sign located about 10ft high placed on an exhaust hood. I thought to myself “how is someone that is blind supposed to find that?” That moment stuck with me and each day I began to notice even more braille signs in ridiculous locations.

· I discovered that BGSU had a program called The “Hatch” that allows student entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to alumni investors and decided to apply. I was accepted into the program and began the entrepreneurial journey I had dreamed about!

·   On April 9th 2014 I pitched the idea that was AudiblEye to 6 investors in front of a live audience of over 1000 people and viewers worldwide. I received an investment from 5 of the investors and began the company that AudiblEye is today!

· Over the past year, with the help of my Co-Founder Austin Eckert we have worked diligently to advance the progress of AudiblEye.

·  At this time, we are seeking additional funding in order to have the AudiblEye application developed for mass distribution. To date, AudiblEye has two prototype locations that have proved the concept and determined that it is possible to develop this application however it is not yet ready for mass distribution.

· Your donations will allow for AudiblEye to become a fully developed application that will change the way blind and visually impaired individuals navigate their lives!

It is our goal to make the lives of individuals that are blind and visually impaired easier by allowing for independent navigation with AudiblEye!

Each donation will allow for us to continue our journey to become the change that needs to be seen in this world, and that is the ability for an individual that is blind to navigate indoors independently!
