Please help me help my autistic children

Hello and thank you for visiting my listing.

In the photo is me and my soon-to-be 4-year-old son, Lucas. He cannot speak and was recently diagnosed with autism. His mother and I have done what we could for him, but we have reached the point where just us isn't enough. I have been out of work for a very long time and there are simply no employment opportunities for someone like me on the island, being that I am not native to this place, nor do I speak the language. My only income has been from my struggling startup that does not make enough money to even put food on the table. So, I wish to travel to the mainland to seek meaningful employment so that I may financially help him. I have already found multiple employment leads on the mainland; I just need to get there to pursue them. He will be in the capable hands of his mother here on the island while I work.

My second child, Luna, also has developmental problems and although she has not been officially diagnosed with autism, she has many of the signs of autism and is due for testing soon. The process has taken a long time due to government red tape. Luna is not quite as bad off as Lucas, but she is also in need of help and has just started therapy. Like Lucas, Luna will also be in the capable hands of her mother while I work.

While the cost of the therapies themselves are covered by public insurance, the costs of getting them to and from their therapies are not. This adds up quickly, especially when traveling to specialists far away. I want to be able to work to pay for these costs, as well as for the other things they need in their lives that I have not been able to afford for them. I have already taken most of the initial steps to making this happen, such as securing a place to live as well as transportation. All I need now is to get there and be able to afford the initial costs of preparing for employment.

If contributions go over the goal, every extra penny will go straight into the support of my children. They deserve a better life than they have now and I want to be able to give it to them.
