Wow, check out what the Armijo Track Team is doing! Their distance medley relay (DMR) team won their event at the Stanford Invatational on 4/1/16 (no not an April fools joke) beating the meet record set in 1985 by 13 seconds at 10:06:31. This time makes them the current #1 DMR team in the USA!!!
(Thank you DJ for setting me straight on my facts. The record had stood for 31 years not 21 I had reported and they bested the the record by over 12 seconds not 9 as I stated.)

Luis G. is 4th in the nation for the 3200 meter event.
Alec W. is 14th in the State of California for the 800 meter event.
Members of this team are qualifing to participate in prestigious invitationals both within California and nationally. Luis and the DMR are qualified to attend the New Balance Nationals in N. Carolina this June
Due to the travel expences this team is in desperate need of support. They have immediate need of funds for travel in California and will need fund for the trip to N. Carolina in June.
This is a once in a life time opportunity for these track superstars.
