Volunteer Trip

Khloe and I will be traveling to Peru in June 2016, but we need your help!  Our trip will be with a Girl Scout Troop for 11 days (including 2 days of traveling).

During our trip we plan on visiting a village in the Sacred Valley near Lima and helping with seasonal farming as well as help make improvements to a local school.  There will be some travel time to Lima, Machu Pichu and the Amazon.

We have always wanted to travel abroad and help the local community.  By joining the Girl Scouts, we are able to accomplish both. 

Khloe is my eldest daughter (I have 3 girls) and feel that this would be beneficial to our relationship (as she will be entering 8th grade by the date of this trip).  It's important to me that we spend quality time away from daily distractions (school, work, friends, technology, etc.).  I would like her to experience the world/different cultures, so that she comes back with a greater appreciation of what she currently has in her life.

The Goal Amount will cover our entire trip (minus personal expenses).
