Andrew Whites INVICTUS GAMES fund

I've been selected to represent team GB for cycling at this years invictus games in Toronto, Canada. I am former Army Lance Corporal and felt life had just begun having been promoted and returning from a tour to Afghanistan. But a severe non-freezing cold injury to my feet instead saw me medically discharged early in my career. Months of depression followed, but I finally sought the help I need to rebuild my life and reignited my love of cycling, which I will compete in at the Invictus Games 2017. The Invictus Games has given me something other than my injuries to focus on. Until that point I realised that I had just been waiting for the life to be done. I have been training for the last year with the help and support of my family specifically for the Games. Being part of the training camps have really made me feel part of a like-minded team which has given me the inspiration and drive to continue on my road to recovery.

I'am raising money for competitive kit and equipment including:
- Competitive road bike
- Carbon disc wheel
- Power Meter
- Bike boxs to get the bikes safely to Canada
