Community Centre Needs Your Help

As a small town of about 50 people, the Altamont Community Centre at 57 King Street in Altamont, Manitoba needs assistance in keeping our meeting place open and running properly.
The building is very sound, the interior was painted, ceiling tiles were replaced, light fixtures changed, windows updated, other exterior walls done - leaving the north till last. There have been only few major updates done for several years due to lack of funds. With most grants being matching grants it has become harder to raise the money needed to carry on.
Our geothermal heating system needs work, our washrooms need to be updated so they are handicap accessible, our kitchen also needs some updating, the bricks on the north wall need work and we need to improve the accoustics .
