A week ago Davis was your typical teenager; hanging out with his friends, Playing soccer and going for prom, without a worry in the world. He has been good student exceling at every level of his school career starting at St Andrews School Turi in Kenya and now completing his final year at Columbia International College in Canada. Davis was  excited for his upcoming graduation and looking forward to spending his summer with friends and family back home in Uganda before heading off to University in the Fall. All of that changed suddenly, when he was diagnosed with Acute  Lymphocytic Leukemia.

He was formally diagnosed on May 14th-one day before graduation  and started chemotherapy last week. He has been a trooper thus far!  However, the bills are starting to pile up and now due, to the gravity of the hospital bills, the insurance company is trying to stabilize him and send him back to Uganda, a country whose medical sector leaves a lot to be desired.

Davis is 18 years old, he is the best brother one could ever hope for, with little brothers and sisters who are looking up to him to beat this disease, he is an extremely friendly person, who makes a connection with every person he meets. He has a remarkable sense of humor...he is still keeping everyone's spirit up even with this terrible diagnosis. He is a talented soccer player and a fighter, that's why we are sure he can beat Luekemia!
