My friend Brandon De La Cruz 24, has end stages of Cystic Fibrosis, an incurable disease that gradually destroys the lungs. He was born and raised in California but ended up in Alabama after some unprecedented circumstances. He is currently receiving hospice care which includes obtaining oxygen through a BiPap machine 24/7 which as a result means that in order to be safely transported from Alabama to California, Brandon would need receive special care in a medical or private jet plane. A company known as ACC Medlink has offered to transport Brandon for the cost of approximately $14,000. My friend does not have a lot of time left on account his health is deteriorating quickly and he doesnt qualify for a lung transplant. The only thing he wants is to be reunited with his family one last time.
