AGUIJON Film

My name is Joel Jerry Duran a soon to graduate latino Filmmaker. I am raising money for my thesis Film AGUIJON, the story of Antonio an ecentric notary public who recives a surprising birthday present. The Film is an homage to 1950's Mexican Cinema, and will be filmed in Spanish. Currenlty I belive that latinos are very poorly represneted in the film industry. Many of the only roles that are out there portay us as drug dealrs or go back to the same border crossing story (Which is a great story... that has been told numerous times) there is more to us than that. There is more to us than small roles as gardeners. The purpose of this film is to bring to the screen and hopefully with your help film festivals, the power of a latino cast. I will be filming mid July, the funds recived will go towrds production design, equpiment rental, and other aspects of day to day production of the film like food. I need all the help I can get any amount will be accpeted. Anyone who donates can request a copy of the film once it is finished and Executive producer credit when they email just thier name to me.
