Story of my Life
"Hello, my name is Aaron Wheeler." I've said that phrase for over 30 years. One day, I stopped. I became someone else. Not literally, but in 2012 after more than decade of working under my given name, I developed a character named "Ace Carter". I performed exclusively as Ace for 4 years. Imagine the confusion when introducing myself – I was both Aaron and Ace. Now, I’m ready to be me and only me, but I need your help. Let me explain.
Four years ago I began producing and hosting a monthly show called Tuesday Tease. I developed "Ace Carter" for the show.
Tuesday Tease was a rousing success, selling out monthly in two locations. In 2013 I moved on from Tuesday Tease to perform nightly at a dinner theatre in the Grand Canyon. I performed this show over 700 times for audiences for nearly two years before returning to Seattle.
I have spent the last year developing a new show based off of my dinner theatre show and other works I've developed since returning to Seattle. This show will be the first Magic based show I've performed under "Aaron Wheeler" in nearly four years. The working title of the show as well as the campaign is "Story of My Life."
Rebranding a show and your own image is not an easy task. I'm excited to debut this work but I need your help to do so. Your support will enable me to fabricate custom illusions for the show, secure venue and rehearsal space, and reimagine the current "Ace Carter" show to "Aaron Wheeler."
