Official Aaron Barker Memorial
Donation protected
On January 21st my entire world changed forever. My baby, my world, my Aaron Keith Barker left me . God called him back to Heaven. And my life hasn't been the same since.
My baby was the light of my life, And to my surprise the entire Charlotte community. If you knew him then you loved him. He was an all around fantastic person, amazing son, wonderful brother, awesome uncle and a great friend. Aaron was a gentle giant, standing 6 feet, 4 inches at age the tender of 15.
This is not a natural progression in life, as a mother you leave your children, they are not supposed to to leave you. Our family is trying to cope and make sense of this senseless situation; considering Aaron was in the prime of his life. He had so much promise, and there was so much hope. He was destined to go to the NBA with his determination and drive.
Aaron's passing was sudden and heartbreaking. We never in a million years would we have dreamed we'd be sending our baby back home so soon. We're asking for donations to help with the arrangements. Any assistance would greatly be appreciated. The service will be held on Saturday, January 28th. (time and location will be shared soon)
This is Sharon, Aaron's mother. There was another gofundme account active that his friend created as a surprise without our knowledge that has been taken down. His intent was good but we weren't aware and did not want anyone maliciously profiting from our son's death.
Thank you in advance for loving my baby.
