My beloved husband and father of my 3 children, Kurt Gillhaus, passed away after losing his 2-month battle with a very aggressive form of lymphoma.   He was a great father and role model.  He coached many sports teams over the last 12 years and had an impact on many young athletes.  He believed strongly in the Student-Athlete, with the emphasis on Student and expected our children to do well in school, sports/dance and attend college.  He had big plans for all three kids.  However, he was self-employed and I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 18 years so without his income, paying for college for 3 kids will be a challenge.  Our oldest son will begin college in September 2016, our middle son in September 2018 and our daughter in September 2021.  Any amount will be greatly appreciated by the Gillhaus family.  We are grateful for all the love and support that we have received from our friends and family during this very difficult and traumatic time.  Thank you to my "village" who have provided meals, shopped, run errands, driven kids, sat at the hospital, provided moral support and everything else.  I love all of you and I know that it makes Kurt happy knowing that his family is being supported by family and friends.
