A New Beginning for Nichole
We are raising funds for our Niece Nichole Santiago who was involved in a horrific incident on February 12th 2019.
Nichole was shot in the back while in her car. The bullet hit her on the right side of her back went through her spine an completely shattered the T10 vertebrae and part of the T9 bone. The bullet fragments got lodged in the spinal canal irreversibly damaging the spinal cord Then continued to go through the left lung where it created some more tissue damage and got lodged in the rib cage causing her left lung to collapse, causing various breathing complications. After a few CAT scans and x-rays they determined that she will be paralyzed. There isn't a surgery that can help her walk again.
Nichole is a 20 year old free spirited girl who went out her way to help others anyway she can. She loves the out doors, driving and has a huge collection of footwear. She loves the pool and beach and is an excellent swimmer.
She loved to take her little brother to play laser tag and many other activities as well as taking care of her baby nephew.
Her life goal was to have a career in culinary arts.
Nichole and her parents need all the assistance that they can get. They need to relocate to accommodate her new lifestyle and pay for medical expenses. Funds will be used to cover Medical fees and relocation needs only!
