The Westside High School Beta Club has grown from a group of a handful of dedicated students to more than 30 young men and women dedicated to excellence in Achievement, Character, Leadership, and Service.
During the current club's second trip to the GA Senior Beta Convention and first time competing in the various contests, we were excited to learn that one of our members, Mya Carter '17, earned First Place in the Pencil Drawing Competition!
This automatically qualified our club to attend the National Senior Beta Convention so that Mya can compete for the National Title!
We need your help. We have launched an agressive fundraising campaign to raise funds for Mya's trip to Nashville, TN, as well as funds to support the various trips and activities that our very active club has planned.
Our goal is to raise $10,000, but we certainly aren't asking you for all of it at once! Our humble request is that you donate whatever you can, as soon as you can, so that we may continue to accomplish great things.
