TouringTunes Supports Gearing Up!

Dear Friends,
Last year, Petunia the traveling WonderDog and I rode from our home in central New Jersey to the coast of Oregon... and then in a bonus round, we rode down the coast of California and then into Yosemite National Park! It was an amazing trip and we were so honored that so many friends and family members helped us raise money that was donated to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
This year, Petunia and her human Jamie will be riding again! We plan to leave May 23rd and head north from NJ to Maine, following the Adventure Cycling Association's Atlantic Coast Route, where we will then intersect with their Northern Tier route and ride west towards Seattle (or wherever we end up by the end of August).
We have learned about the Philadelphia-based non-profit organization called GEARING UP, whose mission is to provide women in transition from abuse, addiction, and/or incarceration with the skills, equipment, and guidance to safely ride a bicycle for exercise, transportation, and personal growth. We're honored to help raise money to aid them with their programs and services. More about Gearing Up is available at their website: http://www.gearing-up.org/

A total of 100% of all donations will go directly to Gearing Up (I will cover the small fee fromGoFundMe so you can be assured your donations will matter).
