My name is Jaron. In 2012, I decided to put myself through school. At first, I didn't really know what I wanted to do in college; it was just that "next step" everyone takes...eventually. When I started taking Science and Math classes, something clicked and stuck.
Four years later, I've maintained a 4.0 GPA, obtained two degrees in the Physical Sciences & Math and Biology. I've now been accepted to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo California where I will be studying Biochemistry and Applied Mathematics with a minor in statistics.
I'm hoping to merge these areas of study together into a degree in Bioinformatics and concentration in molecular biology. Over the years, I've adopted a very strong passion for biomedical research sciences and the applications of mathmatics and statistics to supplement those areas of study. This has lead me to pursue a career that would put me on a research team where I could help develop new technologies and treatments for various illnesses that plague our modern age.
But there's a slight problem. University is a bit of a jump from a community college, and things have gotten far more expensive than I'd originally planned for. As such, I have decided to open this account in hopes of alleviating some of the financial stress that comes with attending a higher level institution.
Your donation will help:
-Paying for housing
-Purchasing textbooks & class supplies
-Feeding a poor and slowly starving college student (and his adorable dog)...
Ultimately your donation goes directly to helping me pursue and maintain my academic goals while helping to soften as much of the pressures and stress that college costs bring about. Any donation helps and is greatly appreciated.
If you've taken the time to read this, thank you. If you've decided to donate, thank you. I am incredibly appreciative of any and everyone that is interested in my education and areas of study.
Thanks again for your time,
Jaron ~
