TEAM Z 2015 World Cup sponsorship

Triple crown US Mondioring National Champion Moonquest's Zorro del Sol y Noche (aka "Zorro") has once again earned the honor to represent the United States at the 2015 Mondioring World Championship (http://www.mondioring2015.fr/)
in Vendenheim, France (October 1-4).  Mondioring is one of the most difficult dogsports there is; at the highest level, dogs must execute amazing obedience (retrieve any type of object, refuse steak, etc), jump great heights and perform incredibly complicated protection exercises such as defending their handler (www.usmondioring.org). The most fit, courageous and problem-solving dogs succeed.

As a first-time dogsport competitor tucked up in rural Northern California, with a dog that did not have the winning foundational training of most competition dogs, it is truly amazing that Zorro and I have done so well.  In fact, Zorro is the only dog in US Mondioring history to three consecutive USMRA National Championships (2013, 2014, 2015)! Ours has been an incredible journey...with steep peaks, some low valleys and epic vistas along the way. I am so proud of Zorro and my accomplishments; our success is testament that - with team work - amazing feats can be achieved. We are so honored to represent the USA and Humboldt County!

Team Z will be competing at the highest level (Level 3) against the world's best dogs from several different countries. I am so humbled and honored for this opportunity. The European competition will be tough; only once in the history of Mondioring has an American team made the podium. I had the honor of watching my US teammate Lisa Geller and her dog Steton achieve 3rd place in the World Cup in 2013 at Bilbao, Spain.

Zorro and I will travel to France  in September to prepare with a professional trainer. Mondioring is one of the hardest dogsports on the planet. We spend hours and hours training and, as many ringsport people say, "it takes a village to train a mondioring dog." My estimated costs for the championship are $6500, which includes Zorro and my airfare, lodging, van rental, training, food, supplies and veterinarian certification. I am humbly trying to raise $5000 to help cover my costs.

So many of you have been incredibly supportive and helpful to us along our journey. I hope you'll consider being a part of amazing Team Z- a donation of any amount is deeply appreciated. Thank you!!!

I will send you updates along the way and during the Championship. http://www.mondioring2015.fr www.usmondioring.org
