Greetings!

My name is Tauheed "Young T" Browning, and I am a 12 year old competitive tennis student-athlete. I currently attend the sixth grade at the  Pennsylvania
Leadership Charter School (PALCS) in West Chester, Pa. I would like to humbly ask you for your assistance in pursuing my dreams to compete on the international junior tennis circuit.

A little about my history: I began to learn the game of tennis at six years old, at the Gustine Lake Recreation Center. Gustine Lake is part of the National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL), which was created by the great Arthur Ashe. This site is where my sister, Nadiyah, inspired my aspirations for excellence in tennis, in addition to my education. At the Arthur Ashe youth tennis and education center now "Legacy" I receive mentorship from the best coaching staff  around, that also includes my dad. The coaches not only care about my tennis game but care about me as a person and student. I have friends at Legacy from all parts of the city and tri-state area.
Legacy tennis center has and always will be home!

Over the past six years, I have trained with the emphasis on “FUN and FUNdamentals!"

As a result of my dedication and drive, the sport has afforded me opportunities to travel throughout the United States to play against some of the best junior tennis players in the country and from around the world!

My desire to maximize my game has allowed me to realize my potential. With every success and "progression in losses" I am seeing my future brighter. These lessons learned have opened a new chapter of possibilities, making me eligible to compete globally in South American, Europe and Asia.

I am overjoyed and excited about playing abroad. However, I am fully aware that in order for me to participate in international tournaments, it will require a tremendous amount of discipline and focus on my academics and athleticdevelopment.

Furthermore, my academic development is just as important to me as my athletic pursuits. Therefore, to ensure I keep my focus, I am required to maintain a minimum of a "B" grade point average, before I am allowed to train.

Playing on the international stage in junior tennis requires a great deal of financial and in-kind support, strategic training and competition planning, as well as parental involvement.

In order for me to compete on a world-class level. I kindly ask you to be part  of my "journey" and make a contribution to assist with offsetting expenses such as tournament fees, travel cost, and lodging.

By donating any amount to help me literally "Go Far With Tennis," you can rest assure that your investment will be well worth it.

If you are unable to make a donation, I totally understand and ask that you pray for me while I continue on my journey, and share my story with your family, friends and colleagues.

I truly hope that you consider supporting me and thank you for reading my story!

Sincerely,
Tauheed "Young T" Browning
