Support the Arab Queer Collective and Tarab NYC Marching in the 2013 NYC Pride March
The last time an Arab group marched in NYC pride was in 2003, when the fierce members of the Gay Lesbian Arab Society (GLAS) loudly and proudly took to the streets. Ten years later, even louder and prouder, the Arab Queer Collective and Tarab NYC are marching in the 2013 NYC Pride March on Sunday, June 30th! Join queers from all over the Arab world, celebrating pride and fighting injustice.
Having a presence at pride can really add up, your support will go towards NYC Pride March fees, float costs, and material printing.
MARCHERS
If you are Marching, please donate $10 below by selecting Mutathahr, or if you would like, donate $20 below by selecting Alam Mutathahr by June 21st and receive 3ftx5ft flag or 1.5ftx1ft stickflag of the country of your choice to march with. Dont forget to sign up to march HERE, lineup begins at 11am, allies are welcome.
SPONSORS
There are three ways you can sponsor us. For $25 you can be our Daloua'a (Flirt), and have your name listed on our website and printed on our pride banner as a Daloua'a sponsor. For $50 you can be our Sadiqi (Friend), same as above, but your name will be boldly displayed on our website and banner as a Sadiqi sponsor. For $100 you can be our Azizi (Sweetheart), same as above, but your name will be predominately displayed on our banner and website plus we will give you a shout out on the PA system during the March. Don't want any recognition for your donation? That's cool too, just let us know and we will keep it our little secret.
