Toussaint L'ouverture High School Prom
Donation protected
We need your help in gifting an unforgettable experience to some deserving kids!
Prom can be a magical evening in the life of a teenager. From the preparation to the fancy decorations, from that surprise invitation... to the lifelong memories. Prom is a special experience that is celebrated annually by most students across the country. Sadly, due to circumstances beyond their control, many never experience the magic of a prom night. This is the reality for students at Toussaint L'Ouverture High School (TLHS) in Delray Beach...We want to change that this year with your help.
Statistically, most, if not all, of the population at TLHS are immigrants. Of the 200 students, 97% are Haitians and 3% are Latinos. In their 15 years of existence....the school has never had a prom night. Together with your help, we can change this. We have partnered up with the school and have already seeked the help of many well-known and established people within the the Haitian and Hispanic community. However, we believe that with your support, be it financial or voluntary, we can give these deserving kids a night to remember.
On May 23rd we will host "A Night in Paris" themed prom for the students. We are utilizing every resource available to us to make this event a success. We are in need of donations to help cover the costs for some of the vendors. We need supplies and some volunteers...DJ's, Hairstylists, Make up artists, etc..
Please contact Alnie, Nadine or Rose with any questions. We truly appreciate your support!
