Bring Syrian Refugees to Kensington
Donation protected
Kensington is working towards bringing a refugee family from Syria to Kensington and we need your help.
We plan to raise $30,000 to bring a Syrian Refugee Family to Kensington, and help settle and support them for the next year. The private sponsorship is a commitment for one calendar year from the time they arrive, and during that time, we are responsible for as many of the family’s expenses as are needed. In addition to providing material and emotional support for this family, our group organizes housing, furniture, clothing, food, and everything they need day-to-day.
You can make a difference in one family, by making a donation. Every little bit counts, and we are so appreciative of anything you can do.
We have partnered with Durdles Bookkeeping, Kensington United Church and the Malpeque Bay Credit Union for this initiative.

If you wish to receive a charitable tax credit (Canada only) for your donation of $20 or more, please contact Durdle's Bookkeeping to request a receipt. When you donate, be sure to include your name and address so we can confirm your donation. [phone redacted]
