Farm Truck Fund

This is our farm truck (temporarily doubling as our family vehicle), a 1997 GMC Sierra . It's a nice truck, new to us this year and our first farm vehicle. However, some of its vital functions are starting to wear out.
We need a new set of tires all the way around for one thing. Recently the transmission has started to go downhill. We can't pull anything heavy, such as our livestock trailer for hauling hogs, cows, and goats to market. The AC doesn't work, one of the windows on the cap needs to be replaced, and the tailgate won't stay up without the cap lid being down - and the handle on the lid broke just this morning.
As you can imagine, having a reliable, healthy truck is essential for running a farm. It's hard to plan trips to the butcher or auction when I have to worry about breaking down or blowing out a tire.
So we are trying to raise money to get the basic things fixed so that our truck is safe and reliable. We are also building in some extra to go ahead and pay off the balance owed on the truck so more of our farm income can go towards reinforcing our infrastructure and feed and generally building our business.
Our farm is a diversified small family farm located in Georgetown, Delaware. We raise pigs, goats, a variety of yard birds that wander to their hearts' delight. We also sell value added products from the farm such as homemade soaps.
