Burnaby Summer Theatre - Transportation

   Each summer the Burnaby Arts Council (BAC) employs students from the 'School For Contemporary Arts' at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, Canada. Their challenge is to create, produce, perform and travel an original theatre work for children to a wide range of community facilities located throughout Burnaby and the GVRD. Sample venues include Senior Centres, Community Centres, Burnaby Village Museum, Childrens Hospital, Canuck Place, and neighbourhood parks.
      As a BAC Board Director, I seek to raise monies beyond the performer's wages to cover the rental and fuel costs of a Van required to transport the actors and their props to the widely scattered event sites. Neighbourhood places, where live interactive theatre is shared with very enthusiastic young people; all at no charge to the public!    
      I NEED YOUR HELP!  ... with a small $ donation toward this special community theatre arts program, together, we can ensure that the program is on the road and headed toward another successful performance season.
