Stuart's Goal

Donation protected
Our good friend Stuart has Metastasis Myxoid Liposarcoma, it is in a band of cancers called sarcomas. It is a rare cancer of connective tissues, generally it affects adults between the ages of 40-60, Stuart is only 30. There is currently no treatment available for Stuart in the UK, if we can't find a way to treat the cancer doctors say he only has 18 months left to live. Stuart can survive, we have a plan and that’s where we need your support...

There is a glimmer of hope and this is sending Stuart to the USA (Washington State) to take part in a clinical trial under the guidance of Dr. Seth Pollack, so he can receive a vaccine that has been specifically designed to fight the damaged cells. With this treatment he has a much greater chance of survival. The treatment will cost £150,000 and this is not covered by any kind of insurance. There is no other kind of treatment available in the world for someone in Stuart's condition.
