On July 23, 2015, Wade Stephenson was taken home to be with the Lord after his car was struck on his way to work. He was a beloved husband as well as a father of 3 girls and a son soon to be born.
The Stephensons are deeply loved by family, friends, and their fellow church members at Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville. Please continue to pray that the God of all comfort, the Father of mercies, will meet, sustain, and comfort Rebecca and their 3 young daughters, especially as they await the arrival of the new baby.
We trust that the very real sorrow and grief that we all share will be overshadowed by the truth of God’s infinite wisdom, sovereignty, and love that we know through Jesus Christ.
