The Musical Autist
Question: Did you ever go to the symphony hall or an upitty jazz venue and noticed people's responses to the one who acted way too excited or clapped at the wrong time? Think about it, wouldn't you consider these venues "socially inaccessible" for those who aren't "neurotypical"?
This is why Sensory Friendly Concerts came into being. And this is why CJ Shiloh, the Director of The Musical Autist nonprofit, will be running 26.2 miles on Oct.18th as our first official fundraiser to bring Sensory Friendly Concerts across the United States!
We recently received our 501c3 status, so your donations here are tax deductible.
Sensory Friendly Concerts are only facilitated by Board Certified Music Therapists. 100% of the funds we raise from this marathon will go toward these future concerts.
If you have a heart for people on the autism spectrum, believe in their equal rights within society and believe in the power of self-advocacy, please give your support!!
Thanks so very much,
CJ
