Saving Our Prom

Hi my name is Anais Celini, my boyfriend's name is Nathaniel Baez, we've been dating for two years and have just been told by my school that I am not allowed to bring him as my date to prom because he is transgender. They deem his transition unconventional and not something their church would support. Nathaniel doesnt want me to miss out on such a big event in my life and is trying to put the money together to throw his own prom for me, it means a lot because Nathaniel is now in a transitional housing program,Chelsea Foyer(after leaving a shelter a few months ago), and as a homeless youth he could very well be spending his money else where. We are trying to raise money so that we can afford decorations and a place to throw our prom, as well as a tux and dress as well as anything else that can use to make our prom as special as the one we were supposed to go to.
