The Art Cries Out
My name is Patricia, I am an artist from Wisconsin USA. In 2009 I was asked to paint a mural of the Bible in a historic location in Jerusalem. I gave my time and talents to work for six and one half years coming and going to Jerusalem. This mural is longer than a football field (120 meters)and illustrates the Old Testament and the New Testament. Thousands are coming in each year to see the bright, epic sized mural now, even Holocaust survivors and their families. It is God's love story for all people in pictures.
Many people helped us make the mural reality with donations for the expenses. 
But now the mural could be destroyed by a developer who is building a 17 story high-rise next door without regard for the wall that contains the mural. They have already poked a hole in the lower brick wall beneath the mural and refuse to take responsibility for it. They refuse to protect the wall which could collapse from the ground upheaval as they dig three stories down right next to the mural.
I have had to retain a lawyer to try and stop the developers from destroying the mural. I have reasoned with them, begged them and now threatened them with legal action. They continue to be bullies and are moving on with all of their construction. OUR ONLY OPTION IS TO GET A COURT ORDER FOR THEM TO STOP AND REINFORCE THE MURAL WALL. This will cost $10,000 for lawyers, court fees and expert evaluations such as a structural engineer, architect, appraiser. I need to raise funds for these legal fees in order to save the Mural in the city where Jesus walked. The rocks are crying out! Would you please consider helping us?
