SI Black Heritage Family Day

We need your support!!! Our goal is to raise $25,000 so that we can continue to serve the Staten Island Community. Staten Island Black Heritage has hosted for the past 7 years, one of the largest Family Day, Parade, and Festival on Staten Island. This annual event takes place every 3rd Saturday of September. Heritage Day is funded and brought to the community through collaboration of many community-based organizations. Who believe that through our collective strength and our common bond, we can implement impactful programs, and advocate for change. By pooling our resources for cultural enrichment, community empowerment, and educational development.

Over 2,500 people from Staten Island and nearby cities come out to celebrate the rich heritage of the descendants of the African Diaspora, who live on Staten Island. There are over 50 vendors (food, clothing, and resource information) in the park for the Family Day and over 50 bands, schools, companies, dancers, steppers, community organizations, etc. who participate in the parade.
