Col. Robinson African American Hero
Donation protected
Greetings my Sisters, Brothers, Family and Friends. Thank you all for your continued support of the Pan African Technical Association (PATA).
The Pan African Technical Association is reaching the end of the first chapter of our wonderful, but challenging journey, honoring the legacy of an African-American hero, Colonel John Charles Robinson.
The first part of this effort is nearly complete, but we need your help to cross the finish line! With your valuable donations PATA will be able to:
· Pay for the transportation and freight forwarding of the Robinson Sculpture
· Pay for the completion of the plaque for the sculpture
· Hire a Ethiopian film crew to film the unveiling of the Colonel Robinson Sculpture
· Perform the initial editing of our next PATA DVD. This DVD will document the legacy of Colonel Robinson’s contribution to Ethiopia and his importance within the aviation field of the United States.
PATA is happy to inform you that the Colonel John C. Robinson Sculpture has been accepted by Ethiopian Airlines and will be unveiled at the inauguration of the Ethiopian Aviation Academy (EAA). The EAA is one of the oldest Aviation Academies in Africa.
We are proud of this collaborative success, as Colonel Robinson contributed greatly to the success of Ethiopian aviation. Colonel Robinson was invited to Ethiopia in 1935 by Emperor Hailie Selassie to teach Ethiopian soldiers to fly and also served as commander of the Ethiopian Air Force. To learn more about Colonel John C. Robinson, please take a look at our short film.

With your contributions, we will help to spread Colonel John C. Robinson’s important legacy and strengthen the connection of African communities across the Diaspora.
Peace and Blessings,
The PATA Family
