Rick Oerter's Medical Fund

This is my neighbour Rick Oerter, he has Multiple Myeloma. It is a cancer of the plasma in the blood. Its usual course is to start by attacking the bone marrow where the blood is produced. If left unchecked it can start to attack the bones themselves. The results of the bone marrow biopsy that was done showed that he has only about 10% of the capacity to produce blood. That is why he is anemic and can't do hardly anything. That and the part about my blood behaving the way it does when the labs try to spin it and they can't. He personally has talked to enough doctors that in their over a hundred years combined experience NO one has ever seen that before. He already started chemotherapy 2 weeks ago but seeing how his doctor abruptly quit, Rick doesn't know for how long that'll take place in his home town, Lander Wyoming. This is Rick's second (proper term for it) cancer. he has been a cancer survivor since 1992. But getting less fond of the law of averages. Hopefully two will be it. 

Rick is 55,  Lynn his wife is 54 . they have 3 sons, they are 26, 25 and 24. One four year old grandson with two more on the way in July. One for each of our kids.
Rick was self employed being an amazing construction worker and rancher, he was forced to stop working and selling his cattle since he has no energy and is in severe pain. By paying his continious growth of insane amount of medical bills Rick & Lynn mainly rely on Lynn's disability check which is not enough to continue Rick's medical care and bills for their daily needs.
