Help Redfish Lodge Rebuild The Dock

This account has been created in response to the overwhelming comments on the Redfish Lake Facebook page.  We  have read hundreds of posts of people asking for a crowdfunding site or a way to contribute help.  This Crowd fund request is for THESE people that want to help.  There was no insurance to cover the damage done by the ice to the dock structures.  All of the docks were removed.  The ownership of Redfish lake is comitted to rebuilding this dock for the public to continue to use.  Like all of you that commented, we want to help too. 

This GoFundMe is not connected to Any employee or family member of Redfish Lake Lodge.  We spoke with their General Manager Jeff Clegg this morning and he expressed his humble gratitude and was a little overwhelmed at the positive response and offers to help that have been pouring in.  We asked for their blessing to organize a little help.  There is no expectation from Redfish lake lodge management or the ownership for the public to fund these extensive repairs.  This is a community that loves Redfish Lake Lodge pulling together to help them rebuild. The original cost to build these docks was over $300,000.00 in 2001.  Pretty staggering.  

We, like you, are passionate about a little slice of heaven we call home for about a week once a year.  We want to help give back and contribute to rebuilding the dock.  Like many of you who have grown up coming each year, we have seen so many families and friends gather and enjoy the beauty of the Sawthooths in this most awesome place.  Please help us help them bring it back to the way we all know and love.

Any money raised will go directly to Redfish Lake Lodge via Gofundme.  Please help us by sharing this with your friends and encouraging them to do the same.  I will ask Redfish Lake Lodge for permission to share this with their Facebook Community for better reach to those who love Redfish.
