Greetings! My name is Davina Lyons.
I recognize hurting women when I see them. Women who look at you as if behind a two-way mirror; because you can't really know the pain they have buried inside. I call them 'walking wounded'. I know because I lived it. I had so much potential and was derailed at a very young age. I spent most of my adult life trying to recover from my hurtful experiences. My feelings were buried alive as I pretended to cope. I simply wanted to be understood, valued, and loved.
The women I seek to help are dealing with chaos, poor perception of others, negative habits, inability to cope day to day, unhealthy relationships, financial distress, and so on!
It is my mission to help these women by educating and motivating them to uncover the pain of their past, in the present, in order to re-write their life story.
Today, I have a new story. I re-wrote the story of my past. My new story is of redemption, grace, and an enormous amount of love. As I began to uncover and reconcile the pain of my past, I discovered a relationship that would forever change me in a positive way. I experienced God’s love through others and was finally able to give it back as I grew closer to Him. Like Jesus’ love of mankind, I became passionate about re-writing my story as a witness to help others.
God revealed to me in His Word, that all along, he had a plan and a purpose for me. I have hope and a future. I stand on that promise and continue to walk in my purpose of helping others to recognize what God has in store for them. My story is Pain, Passion and Purpose (P3).
