Hello, its good to meet you.

My story is very simple.  I had a brain tumor in the center of my brain (in my left side's amygdala/hippocampal region).   The tumor was benign (thank G-d) but it sat there for at least 30 years, causing me enough grief with the epileptic seizures, it also shut OFF my appetite & gave me problems breathing.

At about 41 years old, it was bad enough, I had to get laser surgery which removed the tumor completely, but basically un-plugged the right side of my body (leg, arm/hand/fingers)

It took me a couple of years to regain use of my body (as well as I could) but my eyesight is still confusing.

In the surgery, something happened to me to lose the right side of each eye's vision..  I have "right homonymous hemianopsia" (say that 3 times fast!) .... For the left side of each eye, I see just fine, the right half is nothing but black.  I have walked into so many doors, chairs, stepped on my bunny, (it isn't even funny!) but like the other problems from the surgery, its okay, I make adjustments & move on..

I am homebound.  This is my life, but I'm okay with this.   I do have plans though.  They includue taking my talents of weaving & needlepoint to make projects for sale to clients (i.e. weave them wall-hangings, dishcloths, headcovering scarves, etc.) & I am also doing work with a "pattern maker" on my computer which helps me to feed the program pictures which I then edit to  convert into cross-stitch patterns or kits to offer for sale.  This is where i need your help.

Over time I hope to purchase a new scanner, printer & hopefully replace my computer one day (its not very reliable).   I also wish to be able to buy new threads for my weaving projects, as needed.

Whatever you can do to help me, donate to me, will be much apprecited.
