Oahu "train them up" trip.
One of my best friends is the pastor of New Life City church in Waikiki, a church for the homeless. Apart from church services they also feed the homeless and try to meet other physical needs while they are ministering to them.
Growing up in a home that went on anual volunteer/missions trips to Mexico, I too would like to introduce my daughter to the same experiences I was exposed to. I am thankful to this day that my parents took us on these trips and taught us at a young age to think outside of ourselves, to help the needy, to love everyone. I want my daughter to have the same heart for people, to love like Jesus.
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6
