Peter Noel / IBRM Photography
After spending 5 weeks in the hospital in 2013, nearly dying twice and losing my job while there, I decided that I wanted to pursue MY passion instead of someone else's....photography. So far, I've been doing a lot of free work mostly for experience and to help get known.
My brother and I want to build his PR business and we want to grow the photography end. Mostly taking pictures of youth sports tournaments but I will shoot just about anything...street, sports, concerts, corporate events, etc. I am finding that the equipment I presently own is not going to cut it on the long haul so I would like to get a couple of cameras that are Wi-Fi enabled, lenses to go with them, a lighting system and a printer specifically designed for on-the-spot photo printing. I'm figuring that the cost of everything would run me about $10,000.
I've already invested about $3,000 into it so far with the current equipment I have plus countless hours of shooting for free to gain experience. For every $500 I raise, I will be giving a random person who donated a free 11"x14" print from any photo in my personal gallery.
