Paige Luzader's Japan trip to WCBF

Our daughter Paige has a love for playing baseball and currently plays Select baseball on a 10u AA team called Striker Baseball alongside her other boy teammates. Paige is just as competitive and an integral part of the team as the boys on the team. Paige had played softball when she was younger but we found it wasn't as competitive and she wasn't learning what she could playing baseball.
Last year we found out about the Baseball for All organization and how they promote our daughters playing in all level of baseball, from Little League thru Select teams and all the way up to High School and College baseball. It was thru BBFA we learned about the World Children's Baseball Fair and their 2015 event in Chiba, Japan. Paige applied for the opportunity which involved writing an essay about her love for baseball and what she wanted to get out of the WCBF event. Paige was chosen as one of two girls and three boys to represent the United States at this years event. There will be over 100+ children aged 10 /11 from 20+ countries at the event. This will be a life changing trip for Paige that will give a lifetime of memories and will allow her to contuine support and promote her love of baseball, girls playing baseball and will help support BBFA.
While WCBF covers the cost of the trip from Los Angeles to Japan and lodging while she is there we are still responsible in getting her to/from Dallas to LA, passport and other expenses along the way. We are hoping that a major airline will donate the tickets and if so then our expenses will go down by about 75%.
If you know Paige personally then you know what a special girl she is, how hard working she is both on and off the field and and what this will mean to her. Also if you believe in supporting the efforts in girls breaking down the barriers of playing in a boy dominated sport we ask that you help support our fund.
