The OJR NJROTC cadets have been invited to Ireland to train with the Navy Life Boat Institution (RNLI). The RNLI is a group analogous to the US Coast Guard. The OJR NJROTC cadets have now initiated fundraising efforts, and are eager to participate in this rare opportunity. This fundraising effort is beyond anything the group has faced in the past, but they are a motivated, enthusiastic, and deserving group of cadets who have worked hard to keep their program alive. They represent the very characteristics that the NJROTC hopes to instill in our youth. With the support of our local neighbors and merchants here in the OJR district, we are hopeful that the cadets can take advantage of this opportunity. Your support would be greatly appreciated. As you know, even the smallest donation can go a long way. If you cannot donate, helping us spread the word about our campaign is also a great way of supporting our mission.
