Film for the Traditionally Torsoed
Donation protected
The nascent Dad Bod Movement of 2015 was wiped out in one weekend by the premiere of Magic Mike XXL, a film that promotes unrealistic male body standards and offends the sensibilities of the traditionally torsoed.
In an effort to promote the truth - that Dad Bods are beautiful - and put an end to male body shaming, the Fraternal Association of the Traditionally Torsoed (FATT) is planning a film that will chronicle the enviable life of a male stripper who keeps his clothes on because he's shy and sits on a couch onstage watching television while appreciative bachelorette parties cheer for him to take a nap.
The film will be called "Mundane Matt XXXL: Comfort Waist Band" and, with your help, will be the most visually satisfying film ever made about guys who could dance but choose not to because it sounds hard.
Your contributions will cover:
- buffet for cast and crew
- secondary buffet for cast and crew
- cast and crew snack area (for between buffets)
- elastic waist bands for costumes
- on-site gym and personal trainer (HAH! Just kidding.)
- probably some cameras and stuff so we can film the thing
Please consider a generous donation to help us get this important film off the ground.
Together we can stop the objectification of the male form and shout, in unison: "WE ARE MEN! WE HAVE ABDOMENS! THEY PROBABLY DON'T LOOK THAT GREAT!"
Disclaimer: Any money actually donated to this fund will be donated in its entirety to Rags of Honor (http://www.ragsofhonor.org), a 501c3 non-profit that helps homeless and unemployed veterans.
