Help Our Teacher Reach His Dream

Mr. Amaya teaches English. He has been dedicated to his students and is the type of teacher that truly cares about the students. He gives up his time to mentor those of us students who are rappers and helps us write and record our songs. He also has hooked some of us up with friends of his in the community who have studios so that we can get our music recorded professionally. Mr. Amaya has been rapping since he was in high school and has some music on his Soundcloud page (www.soundcloud.com/Darkside90042). One of Mr. Amaya's long held dreams is to record an album professionally. We want to help him make his dream come true. He has helped so many of us begin the work on making our dreams come true so we would like to help him reach his dream. We are not exactly sure how much it will cost, so we set our goal at $8000 because it sounds like a lot and we hope it is enough. Please give whatever you can and if you are a former student of his, a fellow teacher, someone who knows him from the scene or just a fan of teaching and/or Hip-Hop, leave a message letting him know why you are giving. Update: The youngsters handed over the controls to me today. I was so surprised and I honestly teared up a little. I just want to be for these kids what I never had coming up as an artist. I meet them where they are and try to help them level up their game and create or tighten their gameplans. I thank them graciously and abundantly for doing this for me.
