***PLEASE READ 'UPDATE MESSAGES' SECTION BELOW FOR MOST RECENT INFORMATION ON MR. BIGGS***
Mr. Biggs is an amazing pit-cane corso mix that has lived the last year of his life in a sad and lonely existence. Mr. Biggs was confiscated during a court case, where he lived in a crate for 1 year while waiting for his release at a small shelter in South Carolina. He was recently rescued and has been placed in an amazing foster home. Although he is in a safe place, he is heartworm positive (stage 2 of 3) as well as has a ping pong size mast cell tumor on his back right paw. We are trying to raise funds to get Mr. Biggs the necessary treatment, so he can be adopted in a forever home! Our goal is to raise $2000 for his treatment. No donation is too small and greatly appreciated!
Should any funds remainin after heartworm treatment, they will go towards the ongoing care for Mr Biggs.
***heartworm treatment will be performed once funds have been raised at Long Animal Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
***goal will be adjusted based on cost of necessary course of treatments recommended by vet
