National American Miss
Hello,
My name is Michaela Harrison and I am 7 years old. I have been invited to participate in this year's National American Miss Pageant. The National American Miss pageants are dedicated to celebrating America's greatness and encouraging its future leaders. The purpose of this pageant is to recognize and assist the development of young women nationwide.
The National American Miss Pageant is for \"Today\'s Girl and Tomorrow\'s Leaders.\" The pageant program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise, presentation, and offers an \"All American Spirit\" of fun for family and friends. Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confident, volunteer work, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals. The pageant seeks to recognize the accomplishments of each girl while encouraging her to set goals for the future.
I am very excited for this opportunity as this will be my very first pageant. I have had some experience with dance and musical theatre but I feel this pageant is on a much higher level and I am excited for the challenge.
Here's how you can help. As a potential sponsor, you are being asked to help me participate in the program by providing a small portion of my sponsor fee. The total sponsor fee is $440.00. If you cannot sponsor me, I understand and all I would like from you is to pray for me and wish me good luck :). My goal is to raise $750.00 by August 1st 2011 to help with a dress and other expenses. I know it is a short amount of time to raise the sponsor fees but I have faith that God will take the lead on this and guide me in the direction He chooses.
