Calling all People of Manchester to create a new district!
Support our exciting public engagement workshops, for the redevelopment of Mayfield Station. We want to promote the views of engaged citizens to support, influence and improve the future of this vast but derelict industrial area of Manchester, covering over 24 acres.
We will be running our weekend of events for the Mayfield Imaginarium on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th October at Think Rise@Grindsmith in the Great Northern Warehouse.
Mayfield will likely see up to £750 million worth of investment and presents an incredible opportunity, challenge, and potential for Manchester. The winner of the development U&I was recently announced, and we want to prove that, with them, Mancunians are still the creative and cultural powerhouse of the North-West.
However, despite being a not-for-profit event, setting up the workshops, creating exercise materials, engagement activities and writing the report will incur cover costs. Your donations will make all the difference while helping to fund similar future endeavours.
