My name is Max, I'm an FtM Trans* man that has been on testoterone for 8 months. I'm ready to feel at home in my body, and for that to happen, I need to have top surgery.
What is Top Surgery?
Top surgery is a tissue reduction and reforming procedure which removes breast tissue and shapes the chest to a more masculine appearance.
It's a very expensive procedure, it runs close to $10,000.
I am uninsured (Most insurance plans do not currently cover sexual reassignment surgeries anyway), and I live on a tight budget, paycheck to paycheck. I have absoutely no way of saving up for this operation all on my own, so I'm asking for some support. I have been binding my chest since I was in high school, but let’s be real, binding can be physically agonizing and makes it difficult to live comfortably. I want to be able to feel comfortable in my body.
