Building Masjid & Help the Poor !

As salam alaykum Brothers/Sisters

"Whosoever shares in building a masjid for Allah, even if it is as small as a bird's nest, Allah (S.W.T.) will build for him a house in Paradise." (Ahmad)

The masjid is the heart of any Muslim community, providing much more than a place of worship. Many also offer Islamic education and are often a base from which essential community services are delivered.

The Prophet (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The one who looks after a widow or a poor person is like a Mujahid (warrior) who fights for Allah's Cause, or like him who performs prayers all the night and fasts all the day." [Sahih Al-Bukhari] Volume 7, Book 64, Number 265

The first and foremost duty performed by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) upon entering Madinah at the time of emigration was to build a Masjid. We need your help, We are going to rebuild a few small masjids in the poor villages in Afghanistan. As Muslims it's our duty to help those Muslims who are in need and help towards building Masjids so poor Muslims can worship and seek knowledge. Here are a few pictures of 1 masjid and 1 village, some of the Masjid don't have loud speakers, prayer mats, some have poor building foundation so it gets damaged by natural cause.  Some of the money also will be going towards the basic needs of poor families from these poor areas.
