Mansfield Township Police K-9 Unit

The Mansfield Township Police Department needs your help in raising money to fund our K-9 Unit!

A police canine is deployed for many reasons; the most common is for tracking of missing persons, criminal suspects, and the detection of drugs.  Police canines have been credited with locating missing people who suffer from Alzheimer’s and Dementia, missing and abducted children, and criminal suspects who are in hiding.  With many lives affected by the heroin epidemic in New Jersey and Warren County, we would also use a K-9 Unit to help stop the flow of illegal narcotics in our community.

Unfortunately, the implementation of a K-9 requires many resources to start, and that is where the Mansfield Township Police Department needs your help!  We are in need of donations in order to fund our K-9 Unit and to make this goal a reality! Once the canine is fully trained, the unit will be an exceptional resource used to serve and protect all residents and businesses of Mansfield Township, along with surrounding Townships that are in need of the canine’s assistance.

We appreciate any help you can provide our police department.

Any questions please contact Chief Michael Reilly or Officer Greg Zytko of Mansfield Police.
