Let's Go Ride! (LGR) *will be a non-profit
organization started by me, Marcus Reed, a local Chapman University student,
bicycle enthusiast, and insurance agent. Our mission is to create a safe,
drug-free, informative, and most of all FUN mountain bike experience for children
in our local communities. In addition we will also give our students the
opportunity to give back to the community through LGR sponsored community
outreach opportunities.
The purpose of this program is to provide these great kids with a stable and positive adult influence, a healthy hobby to help build a strong self image, to provide teens with an opportunity to become leaders in this program and the community.
Our goal of $5,000 will be used for:
1. Establishing the Non-Profit Company, Website & Insurance
- The website will be essential in keeping schedules and allowing kids and volunteers to sign up.
2. Purchasing Bicycles for the Kids to Use
3. Purchasing Safety Equipment
4. Marketing Materials to Send to Churches, Orphanages, and Schools
- These marketing materials will be used to sign kids up for the program.
5. Bicycle Transportation
6. Fuel and Transportation to the Riding Areas
