My mom, the happiest, friendliest woman I have ever known, survived an extremely violent burglary, rape and murder attempt on September 17, 2015. After a long hospitalization, rehabilitation and recovery, she has returned home- although "home" is much different for her now and not always easy. She remains wheelchair bound, vision impaired and with a large portion of deep scar tissue, making it very difficult to carry out even the simplest daily tasks. This fund will help provide the resources she needs to live the closest thing to a comfortable life as possible. Her love of live and positivity has gotten her further than we could have ever imagined. Our family cannot thank you enough for your support.
