Latidos de Esperanza

Me llamo Valeria Castillo González, cuento con 3 añitos de edad, nací con una Cardiopatía Congénita (Comunicación Interatrial) y mi corazoncito está creciendo más de un lado que del otro, por lo que requiero ser intervenida quirúrgicamente. Sabrina, mi hermanita menor, también tuvo un "huequito" en su corazón y como lo habían previsto los doctores, al cumplir 1 año se le cerró solito, ¡Gracias a Dios!. El mío debe ser cerrado con ayuda de especialistas, por lo que debo ir al Wolfson Children's Hospital - Jacksonville, 
donde hay mayores recursos tecnológicos que los que actualmente me ofrecen en Venezuela. Durante 8 minutos mi corazón y mis pulmones estarán reposando a la espera que cierren el "huequito" con el que nació mi corazón.

Mis "Latidos de Esperanza" sueñan con que al regresar a mi país, yo tenga la fuerza y la energía necesaria para compartir y divertirme con mis amiguitos en el colegio, con la alegría y la dulzura que siempre me han caracterizado. Para ello,  mi mami Vanessa y mi papi Samuel están haciendo infinitos esfuerzos para conseguir los recursos necesarios para mi recuperación.
 
 Que mis latidos despierten tu corazón y crezca la Esperanza.

Heartbeats of Hope

My name is Valeria Castillo Gonzalez and I am 3 years old. I was born with a congenital heart disease ( inter-arterial communication), my heart is growing larger on one of its sides and I require surgery to correct this defect. My little sister, Sabrina, was also born with a tiny hole in her heart and as the doctors forecasted, this tiny hole shut itself by her first birthday. Mine must be closed with the help of heart specialists for which I need to go to the Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville  where the technological resources are available and better that those We currently have in my country Venezuela. During 8 minutes, my heart and lungs will be resting awaiting for that tiny hole in my heart to be shut.

My heartbeats of Hope long for once I am back in my country, my heart has the strength and energy needed to grow healthy so that I can continue have fun and share more unforgettable moments with my friends at school, with the happiness and sweetness that I have within. For this, My Mommy and Daddy, Vanessa and Samuel, are going through infinite efforts to gather the economic resources for my surgery and recovery.
